A Human Machine Interface essentially performs the role of a visual interface between an individual and the machine they are operating. HMI’s can be utilised by supervisors or other industrial workers to regulate and observe the industrial processes in the plant from a safe and remote location. An HMI is able to display real-time operational information by combining the machinery with a high-tech software solution. The internal processing and computation can then be graphically displayed on the HMI visual screen. There are multiple types of HMI software that can be programmed to be implemented with varying machine components at distinct stages.
